European Data Protection Board

EUedpb.europa.eu

The European Data Protection Board coordinates the EU and EEA's national data protection authorities, issuing guidelines and binding decisions to keep GDPR enforcement consistent across member states; it does not itself investigate or fine an individual organisation the way a national authority such as the ICO or CNIL does. Breach Census checks the EDPB's own register of national decisions daily for breach-related entries; that register is small and most of what it lists is not breach-related, so none has yet qualified as a recorded action here.

Questions and answers

Does Breach Census have any enforcement actions from European Data Protection Board on file?

No enforcement actions from European Data Protection Board are recorded on Breach Census yet.

What is European Data Protection Board's breach-notification rule?

The EDPB does not itself receive breach notifications; GDPR Article 33 requires notice to the competent national authority (for example the CNIL or the AEPD), not to the EDPB.
