Right of reply and corrections

Breach Census is read-only — there are no comment threads, sign-ups or forms on the site, and the middleware rejects any write request, so a correction, a dispute over a confirmation level, or a right-of-reply statement has to come by email.

Include, where you can:

• the exact page URL;
• what you believe is wrong (a name, a date, a confirmation level, an amount); and
• a source for the correction — a regulator filing, a court record, a company statement, or another citable document.

An organisation disputing a claim-only listing (a ransomware group’s leak-site post, reproduced on Threat groups as posted) can request its right of reply be added, or ask why that listing is not shown as a confirmed incident — see Methodology for what “confirmed” requires.

Response time

This is a small, largely automated project. Expect a reply within a few business days; a correction backed by a source document is prioritised over a general dispute.
